Responsibilities

As our Cardiac Nurse at Mercy General Hospital, you’ll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.

You’ll never have the same day twice as your patients’ needs evolve. That’s why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented, observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG techs, and other cardiovascular professionals.

Position Summary:

Managing acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices.

Continuous renal replacement therapy and caring for thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (TAAA) patients with post-operative lumbar drains.

You will be trained in direct recovery of the post open-heart patient.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Current California RN License

2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care unit

American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred:

Critical Care experience in a Cardiac acute care settingPay Range

$65.29 - $79.28 /hour
