　　Description:

　　Actalent is hiring a CAD Technician for a long term consultant role to support the design, drafting, and updating of an OEM facilities role. This position will be located at AEP in the facilities department. They will be working closely with the small engineering team to develop and maintain AEP drawing database. Much of work will require time at desk, but in order to learn drawing system, candidate is encouraged to ask questions and discover how drawings translate to real life through going to the spot, or "genba" in Japanese terms. Environment includes high-performing hands-on group of project managers with whom candidate will learn from and support daily.

　　Update current drawing system for engineering use.

　　Create overview drawings of the main plant utilities

　　Confirm and correct small project as-builts throughout the plant

　　Drawing review of large building expansions

　　Support Development of drawings standards, building specifications, and building standards

　　Essential Function and Responsibilities:

　　Development of drawing database to support document control along with efficient accessibility

　　Development of drawing standards to support equal and accountable bidding between contractors

　　Support development and maintenance of facilities building specification and standards with facilities team

　　Draft small as-built changes to existing drawings to keep database up to date

　　Supporting Facility Engineers in bid document development

　　Support mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers in development and maintenance of drawing database including the confirmation, drafting, and tracking of all facilities project drawings.

　　Updating current drawing system to allow for general use

　　Development and maintenance of facilities building specifications and standards

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Communicate effectively with facilities engineering team

　　Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

　　Proficient with AutoCAD

　　Ability to read electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural drawings

　　Demonstrate personal initiative to accomplish goals with an appropriate level of supervision

　　Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously

　　Required Experience (Type and Length of Time):

　　AutoCAD: 2 Year

　　AutoCAD Vault: Preferred Experience

　　Long term consultant position, ability to work at Honda. PTO and Holiday Pay, 2 weeks paid Shutdown as well.

　　Work Environment

　　Hybrid work environment 1-2 days from home once full trained.

　　First shift position 7:00am-4:00pm

　　90% office environment

　　10% hands on doing line side investigation, machine build and install support

　　Work could occasionally require entering equipment covered with machine coolants/oils
