Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Hybrid System Engineer to join our team in the Hazelwood, MO area.
Manage and support the acquisition and development phases of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Program Set (TPS) that ultimately leads to the approval / acceptance of TPS hardware, software, and data end products.
Responsibilities:
Perform analysis of aircraft avionic systems data and determines the compatibility / feasibility of testing and repairing of these systems with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and associated Test Program Sets (TPS).
Develop the TPS Acquisition Documentation to include the Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Item Descriptions (CDRLs) and associated Contract Attachments.
Develop the TPS specifications and requirements and evaluate contractor TPS design / development activities.
Review system requirements, design, development, integration, test, and delivery of OEM TPS products.
Participate in SETR acquisition Program Milestone events including: SSR1, SRR2, PDR, CDR, ITIM, TRR, and PRR.
Develop the TPS specifications and requirements and evaluate contractor TPS design / development activities.
Support On-site Integration Activities to include observing integration testing, fault insertion and review of logbook entries.
Witness On-Site formal Developmental Acceptance Testing to include contractor’s execution of Test Plan, formal fault insertion, recording of test results (pass/fail), and final test reports accurately reflect the testing activities.
Support TPS Testing Events and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
Analyze Electrical, Analog, Digital, RF, or E-O systems. Knowledge of RADAR and IFF systems is a plus.
Support the technical review / approval of contractor hardware, software, and data end products.
Reviews TPS Software developed in Abbreviated Test Language for All Systems (ATLAS) and C++ programming Languages.
Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be willing to travel. Travel is minimal.
At least 4 years professional experience.
Familiar with Microsoft applications.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position will require an active DoD Secret clearance.
Education:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (either Electrical/Electronic or Computer), or an applied science.Physical Requirements:
Position Self to move.
Stationary 50% or more of the time
Occasionally move around the office
Must be able to Communicate.
Must be able to detect computer screen and other work-related material.
