Description
Amazon Web Services’ Network Products Development team is looking for experienced test professionals to help build our next generation networking platforms. The right candidate will play a key role in the design and development of our next generation Ethernet switching platforms for our world class datacenters.
The ideal candidate is a passionate test engineer with Ethernet networking experience in the areas of terabit switch fabrics, 10/40/100 gigabit interfaces, and embedded CPU subsystems, and network processors.
You will have previous experience testing network products. This includes reviewing designs for testability, developing EDVT and MDVT plans and executing them, troubleshooting issues found, and transition to manufacturing. You should be passionate about the role testing plays in achieving product reliability and quality. Applying skills in developing new test processes, test automation and board/system level debug is expected.
Prefer that position be based in SF Bay Area but will consider Seattle candidates. Candidate should be able to accommodate up to 10% travel to other AWS sites and Asia.

Basic Qualifications
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test proceduresPreferred Qualifications
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience with the project management of technical projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
