HVAC Technician II

　　Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for a HVAC Technician II to join our Electrical team in Plano, TX.

　　What are we looking for?

　　The HVAC Technician II is responsible for providing technical support for engineering staff, including performing duties related to routine testing, maintenance, or clean-up. This role will support specifically the HVAC department on-site in Plano.

　　What you’ll do:

　　Follow and enforce safety requirements and company policies.

　　Troubleshoot HVAC equipment

　　Take photos of test samples

　　Pack and unpack test samples.

　　Setup test samples in test chambers.

　　Create component list for test samples.

　　Clean-up and organization.

　　Tool maintenance.

　　Inventory of supplies.

　　Create electronic folders that include photos and component list.

　　What it takes to be successful in this role:

　　H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)

　　3- 5 years HVAC experience

　　Computer skills

　　Brazing/Fabrication skill set

　　Ability to use basic shop equipment and various hand tools

　　Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner

　　Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

　　Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management

　　Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats

　　Must be customer focused and quality driven

　　Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

　　Ability to ravel up to 15% of the time, or as business dictates.

　　The base wage or salary range for this position is $25 to $31 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
