About This Role:
The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a HVACTechnician to provide preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repairrefrigerant equipment not limited to walk-in coolers, growth chambers,refrigeration and freezers. This individual will directly supportlaboratories located throughout Throckmorton Plant Science Center byproviding preventative maintenance and all repairs to exhaust fans, fumehoods and Reverse Osmosis System.

What You\'ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires two years of relevant experience. Education may besubstituted for experience as determined relevant by a hiringmanagerPreferred Qualifications:
5 years\' experience in the maintenance of commercial refrigerationequipment.Other Requirements:
Valid Driver\'s License upon employment.Refrigerant Transition and Certification Program in Types I and IIupon employment.Knowledge of construction trades, including electrical, plumbing,heat and air conditioning.Knowledge of personal computing to organize work orders and invoicecustomers.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States atthe time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring
Pay Range:
\$46,176 - \$64,140 (\$22.20 - \$30.84).
*Please note: the minimum salary for this position is \$46,176annually, \$22.20 hourly. Actual salary will be determined based on thecandidate\'s experience, education, internal equity and departmentalfunding. Salary offers are typically made between the minimum andmidpoint of the salary range. The range indicated includes both thetypical hiring range and potential future progression.
