  With locations in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Phoenix wehave many opportunities available. Standard work days are M-F, withoccasional on-call after hours. This position is expected to work in excess of40 hours per week during periods of high demand periods.

  POSITION SUMMARY:

  We are looking for an HVAC Technician for preventative maintenance andrepairs. This position requires the individual to troubleshoot, repair,maintain, and install commercial HVAC and related equipment as assigned.

  REQUIREMENTS:

  Universally EPA Certified5 Years of Commercial HVAC Service Tech experience is preferredMech 4 licenseExperience is preferred, Degree in HVAC requiredMust possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record asrequired by the company's insurance provider.If less than 4 years experience, must be willing to enroll in the HaynesUniversity Apprentice program.

  Experience and Skills:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  This job description gives an overview of the essential functions,competencies, skills, and abilities for the Service Technician role. Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

  Able to respond to heavy workload of service calls in a professional manner.Communicates effectively with customers, regardless of their level oftechnical knowledge; can explain to customer the cause of their problem andthe remedy; if problem has not been repaired, offers explanation ofsituation and recommended next steps.Able to follow and utilize troubleshooting guides to identify problems in ashort period of timeConsistently checks system operations and safety and limit controls beforeleaving job locationsEnsures customers' questions/concerns have been addressed before leavingthe work siteUses proper tools and instruments while troubleshootingIncorporates solution techniques to assist other service representatives andhelps resolve issues and customer problemsCommunicates tactfully to offer suggestions if system problems are caused bythe customerDemonstrates ability to determine priorities based on a call schedule,responding to inadvertent interruptions, carrying proper tools andmaterials, and scheduling vehicle maintenancePromptly and accurately completes all required paperworkKeeps supervisor and manager informed of new developments, changes, orcustomer complaintsCompletes service reports daily; obtains customer signature on all servicereportsSigns up for memberships and technical organizations to improve knowledge andskillsKeeps technical knowledge current regarding equipment and conceptsSearches out and reads applicable manuals

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an associate to successfullyperform the essential functions of this job.

  Able to lift 75 lbs from floor to waist with possible repetitionAble to lift 50 lbs from shoulder to overheadAble to work with both arms above head for minimum of 5 minutesAble to carry 50 lbs for a distance of 25 feetAble to push or pull 125 for a distance of 500 feetAble to climb stairs and laddersAble to carry 30 lbs while climbing stairs or a ladderAble to grip and operate hand to ls, powers tools and safety equipment,such as chain fallsAble to lift legs and step over obstacles up to 19 inches above the groundAble to perform work while in varying physical positions, such as lying onside, in a kneeling position, while standing on a ladderAble to access rooftop units and work at heights and in some cases tight orenclosed spaces

  Pay Scale: $32/hr to $50/hr with 5-20 years of experience
