In keeping with this commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce, Hunton Andrews Kurth is pleased to partner with Ahold Delhaize USA, Amtrak and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversitys (LCLD) 1L Scholars Program to offer a unique opportunity for two outstanding first-year law students who have demonstrated a commitment to championing and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in their personal, academic and/or professional pursuits and are committed to championing diversity, equity and inclusion once licensed to practice law. The selected students will participate in an innovative ten-week clerkship with Hunton Andrews Kurth during the summer of 2024 from May 20 to July 26. As a part of this program, selected students will have the opportunity to be seconded to Ahold Delhaize USA or Amtrak for a portion of their clerkship to gain real-life exposure to the in-house counsels perspective. Students selected for these clerkships also will be enrolled in the LCLD 1L Scholars Program, allowing them to network with lawyers from other LCLD member organizations. 　　Participants will:

　　Fully participate in Hunton Andrews Kurths 2024 summer program;Have an opportunity to work on projects with members of either Ahold Delhaize USA orAmtrak;Have an opportunity to be paired with an LCLD Fellow who will serve as a Mentor;(for a minimum of one year);Experience projects from both in-house and outside counsel perspectives; andAttend the LCLD 1L Scholars Virtual ExperienceEligibility
