The role is responsible for meeting the needs of youth andfamilies while maintaining community safety. HSWs provide both directand indirect services by performing court intake activities; completingcourt documentation for upcoming court hearings; and all ongoingsupervision of adjudicated delinquent or Juvenile in Need of ProtectiveServices (JIPS)/Family Intervention Support & Services (FISS) clients(ages 10 to 17).
