About Human Resources (HR) Manager

  Description Attention all Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is working with a growing client to a hire a new Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.

  Your responsibilities

  Manage the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  Keep historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

  Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  Generate recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

  Manage human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  Set up management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  Review reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

  Support employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

  Investigate compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

  Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

  Oversee all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  Be responsible for exit interviews and procedures Requirements - Background in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred

  Ability to view issues without bias

  Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

  Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field

  Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

  A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations

  Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards

  Highly organized and self-motivated

  Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

  5+ years in human resources

  1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
