We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems.All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.Position OverviewRiverside Research is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to work out of our Dayton, Ohio office. The HRBP will report into and will work closely with the Director of HR on HR-specific goals and objectives. The HRBP will play a critical role in the Human Resources strategy.We are also looking for someone who has compensation experience: advising managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with RR compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.Riverside Research offers a hybrid work schedule for this position - Required in-person office presence 3 days a week. Riverside Research has two locations close to Wright Patterson Air Force Base and the HR Generalist will spend time in both locations. Locations are approximately five minutes apart.ResponsibilitiesServes as a consultant to organizational leaders in aligning business and people strategies.Advise managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with RR compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.Participates in the development of the Human Resources strategy, participates in and may lead the execution of resulting initiatives.Work closely with HR Director to evaluate jobs and develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture, participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity and compensation trends.Anticipates and plans for long-term HR needs and trends in partnership with the HR Director and management.Provides guidance and coaching across the organization, to employees at all levels, on Human Resources policies, practices, and programs.Provides guidance to management and employees on HR issues and employment law. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Develops and conducts employee and manager training on Human Resources related topics and initiatives.Ability to influence process improvement by working with others.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:5+ years demonstrated experience as an HR generalist or business partner.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business-related field, or equivalent experience.Demonstrated ability to establish self as a trusted advisor to leadership.Firm understanding of the relevant HR disciplines such as:compensation,performance management,employee relations,training,development.Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, practices, procedures, and programs.Proven ability to adapt, prioritize tasks and to organize workload to assure that short timelines are met given frequent interruptions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.Ability to travel up to 10% to other Riverside Research office locations.Desired Qualifications:7+ years demonstrated experience as and HR generalist or business partner.Know
