  THE POSITION

  Are you looking for a rewarding position that allows you to utilize your analytical and organizational skills? The Human Services HR (human resource) Office is looking for an analytical team-player for a role in the Talent Management Division. The Human Resource Analyst 1 performs talent management support work while ensuring compliance with position description and supervisory reporting relationship principles, procedures, and standards. This includes providing position description consultative support and reviewing change supervisor position requests from agency clients.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  In this role, you will provide support to agency managers, supervisors, and human resource (HR) liaisons regarding the proper development and maintenance of position descriptions (PDs). Communication is essential as you will be establishing and maintaining working relationships with agency human resource staff, supervisors, and HR liaisons in the client agencies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  Gathering reports of agency positions for which current and accurate PDs are not in place

  Educating supervisors on the importance of completing the Commonwealth’s ‘Creating Position Descriptions’ virtual training course

  Serving as the agency’s technical resource for proper use of the Commonwealth’s online position description application

  Drafting standardized PD templates for high-volume, agency-specific jobs, and sharing with program offices for use

  Evaluating supervisory reporting relationship change requests

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week, based on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree;or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
