Roush is searching for an HR Specialist that will provide support to HR Business Partners, employees, and leadership through the talent and performance management life cycle. The role will aid in utilizing best practices in communication, performance management, coaching, talent development and change management to foster a culture of highly engaged employees. This position requires being onsite (4) days per week. Time will be split between Building #50 (Livonia) and Building #9 (Allen Park).
As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the HR Business Partners in developing and executing strategies for engaging, retaining, and developing productive and scalable high performing teamsSupporting the HRBPs in the development of job descriptions by conducting job analyses for new or changing rolesResponding to HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, payroll discrepancies and employee relations mattersWorking with leaders to document and communicate employee performance issuesSupporting leaders in administering disciplinary actions by ensuring proper interpretation and application of policiesFacilitating HR owned training and development offerings to leaders and employeesParticipating in providing HR communication to leaders and employees to ensure timeliness of messages and alignment of focusLeveraging the HR Operations team to ensure the execution of HR processes are consistent and timelyTo be considered an HR Specialist, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relatedMinimum of 2 years of human resources or recruiting experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or Talent Management System (TMS)Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking skillsBasic knowledge of employment and labor lawsCustomer and results orientedGood computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointA successful candidate may also have:
