Description

Our client, a leading biotech firm, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HR Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing HR-related duties in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, application screening, coordinating interviews, and managing the onboarding process.

Administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.

Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including employment contracts, employee leaves, or staffing.

Implement and update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary.

Administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance; pension plans; vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.

Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.

Conduct new-employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.

Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.

Knowledgeable in all areas of human resources.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and comfortable with leveraging new systems.

Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience as an HR Specialist is preferred.
