The Center for Engagement and Inclusion is offering a compelling opportunity for an HR Project Coordinator. This is a full-time position with daylight hours, Monday through Friday, in a hybrid work model.
Our dedicated team focuses on advancing UPMC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Agenda in collaboration with community organizations. The HR Project Coordinator will drive the implementation of diverse programs and service-based initiatives aimed at enhancing community health equity outcomes. This position will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to expand the brand of UPMC with the partnership of community partners and members. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing projects such as service day projects, youth STEM programs, and literacy mentoring programs in close partnership with community organizations and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
General involvement with all Human Resources aspects of the organization
Provide support, where needed, for all events and activities
Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives. Communicate problems or complex requests to the Management.
Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
Maintain an understanding of UPMC human resources programs, policies and procedures to support programs and initiatives
Participate in design, development, and implementation of programs and initiatives.
Assist with department administrative support.
Develop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets and creates and develops Power Point Presentation as needed
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 2 years of experience in project planning and/or administrative function required.
OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate projects, manage tasks, establish priorities, make decisions, and follow issues through to resolution as directed.
Ability to function in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
