Description We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Brooklyn, New York. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for various tasks including managing ADP Financial Services, maintaining employee relations, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the use of ADP - Financial Services for efficient human resource management

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for effective workforce management

• Handle Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS) operations to ensure smooth data transfer

• Utilize Ceridian and Dayforce for HR management and workforce management respectively

• Oversee benefit functions to ensure employee satisfaction and retention

• Maintain open lines of communication within the team and organization

• Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies

• Handle employee relations, fostering a positive work environment

• Manage FMLA requests and ensure compliance with federal laws

• Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey information across the team and organization. Requirements

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now software

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Knowledge of Ceridian software systems

• Experience with Dayforce software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions and their implications

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to ensure Compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its applications in the workplace
