There is always room for growth through flexibility and development opportunities across all fourteen offices.We are looking to fill the role of a Mid-level Structural Revit Designer in Dayton, OH for our Safety practice.MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Coordinates and communicates with engineers and designers within office and from other offices to develop construction documents.* Transform conceptual/schematic designs using Revit into working construction documents* Be able to review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, as well as perform routine drafting and technical tasks as required throughout the project duration* Participate in the preparation of schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and any additional drawing using Revit.* Maintain quality standards, format special requirements, etc. as mandated by office production standards.* Coordinate working drawing information with related outsources and consultants* Create 3D perspectives from Lidar and or other scans.MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office* Takes the initiative to make sure tasks are completed on time. Including setting up project timelines and communicating the timelines to the team.* Exhibits strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.* Other duties as assigned.MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:* Two-year technical degree in drafting design or engineering technologies preferred, or CAD Drafting Certificate with relevant work experience.* Four+ years design experience using Revit required (high level of proficiency with Revit required)* Technical training in Revit, especially with Fall Protection preferred.MID-LEVEL STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER KEY COMPETENCIES:* Organize and prioritize your work schedule to complete tasks on time..* Communicate in-depth information to verify the design meets the client standards* Critical thinking & Problem solving* Attention to detail* Ability to understand technical drawings and plans* Quick and continuous learning* Results driven* CollaborationLJB offers competitive compensation packages, which includes paid time off, a 401(k)/profit sharing plan, tuition reimbursement, flexibility, and mobility.
