PamTen is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, policies, and procedures, with expertise in managing immigration processes such as H-1B visas and Green Card applications. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and offer negotiations.
Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Advise and assist in immigration-related matters, including H-1B visa applications and Green Card processes for eligible employees.
Develop and maintain onboarding materials, including welcome kits, orientation schedules, and training modules.
Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and job expectations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires, especially those on work visas, have access to necessary tools and resources.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
Support the maintenance of positive employee relations by fostering a conducive work environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and goal setting.
Collaborate with managers to address performance-related issues and provide coaching as required.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, particularly in relation to immigration laws.
Support the creation and maintenance of HR policies, handbooks, and procedures, considering immigration compliance.
Identify training needs and assist in the design and delivery of training programs.
Facilitate professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HR databases, and documentation.
Assist in benefits administration, leave management, and payroll processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role in similar industry as PamTen.
Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws, especially related to immigration.
Expertise in managing H-1B visa applications and Green Card processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
