  The Opportunity

  This role is on a hybrid schedule- in office weekly and some remote days

  The Director, Total Rewards will design, develop, and implement broad compensation & benefits programs at Ally. You will lead and drive projects and initiatives, direct reporting and administration, and work across the organization to provide subject matter expertise. This role will be responsible for managing reporting and administrative aspects of total rewards programs, including building and maintaining adequate controls. Based on industry and regulatory trends, as well as deep data analysis, this role will implement creative solutions to ensure Ally's Total Rewards programs remain competitive, compliant, and equitable.

  The Work Itself

  Apply knowledge of enterprise, business environment, and employee needs to design and develop and execute programs and strategies in alignment with enterprise goalsEvaluate and analyze data and information from internal and external sources to understand historical data and identify emerging trendsDrive change management, process improvement, communications and engagement initiativesUnderstand and comply with applicable legislation, policies and procedures to actively manage riskDevelop and oversee the distribution and/or posting of communications, including legally required noticesProvide guidance on escalations and manage legal appeals and sensitive escalationsThe Skills You Bring

  7+ years of total rewards, compensation or benefits experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Relevant certification preferredExceptional analytical skills, including extensive Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experienceVery strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to distill and communicate complex information to larger groups on behalf of business unit or functionRelationship management skills with experience in partnering and building credibility#LI-Hyrid

  Base Pay Range:

  Emerging: 125000

  Experienced: 157500

  Expert: 190000

  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
