Description Robert Half HR Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract HR Coordinator for one of our clients on a part-time basis about 30 hours a week. This hybrid role requires the candidate to work on-site in downtown Atlanta for two days a week. The contract duration will be 4+ months, starting at the end of January. As a part of this stable non-profit organization, which has been serving the community for over 100 years, the HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting their HR operations. Experience with Paylocity, an HRIS system, is preferred for this position. The HR Coordinator will report directly to the HR Director.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration of various HR programs and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system (Paylocity), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Support the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments.
Assist in the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Provide support in employee relations matters
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
Experience with Paylocity or other HRIS systems is highly preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
