Job Title: Factory HR Business Partner
Location: Sudbury Factory, Suffolk
Salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 (Depending on experience) plus potential Bonus + Excellent benefits including pension/ Statutory Bank Holidays + 25 days holiday + an additional 12 flex leave days.

Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Purina Factory working at our Sudbury site as a HR Business Partner. This is an exciting role where you will work closely with all departments within the Factory to ensure we provide ‘best in class’ HR support, guidance and governance.
Purina is the UKs largest manufacturer of pet food. Our Sudbury Factory produces Dry Pet Food and has done since it’s inception in 1990 becoming part of the Nestle group in 2001. We have a stable, diverse and engaged workforce of c200 employees, part of which is unionised.
A day in the life of a HR Business Partner…
This role offers a real opportunity to partner managers as their trusted Business Partner from day one, providing HR support, coaching and development in order to empower managers to provide a high level service. This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues & working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting the successful execution of the HR strategy across the factory;
• Being a key point of contact for any employee relations issues that arise supporting the Factory to ensure the appropriate resolution is achieved in a timely manner;
• Ensuring our performance and talent management activities are understood, embedded and delivered; supporting our people and the factory to ensure delivery against business goals;
• Being a key driver in upskilling our line managers’ capability specifically around people development enabling everyone to be the very best they can be;
• Working as part of a cross functional team to develop our HR practices and processes;
• Developing capability across the factory ensuring our people understand the HR model we work within and are able to efficiently access the solutions they need with ease.
What will make you successful?
You will likely have operational HR Business Partner experience and be able to demonstrate partnering skills with factory management across all departments. You will have strong influencing, communication, networking and analytical skills. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to support leaders in engaging and enabling their teams to optimise performance.
You will also;
• Have Operational HR experience across the core HR processes (Performance Management, Talent Management, Recruitment & Resourcing, Employee Relations and Organisational Change);
• Be able to analyse and translate HR data into meaningful business information;
• Have working knowledge of UK Employment Legislation;
• Have experience of case management and providing support to Line Managers;
• Ideally have worked in a Manufacturing business.
