About HR Assistant

Description

We are currently seeking a human resources assistant to provide diverse support for our HR department in our busy hospital setting. This position calls for a highly organized and dedicated individual who will effectively assist in various HR functions including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR data management. This role is essential in maintaining an engaged and efficient work environment that is in line with our hospital's mission.

Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, pre-employment processes, and new hire orientation.

Maintain and update HR databases and employee records in accordance with confidentiality regulations.

Assist in administering various employee benefits programs such as group health, dental vision, disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness programs.

Support in managing HR-related inquiries or requests, providing appropriate and prompt solutions.

Process payroll information by collating timesheets and managing any discrepancies.

Assist with the implementation and coordination of various HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and conducting team building activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.

At least 2 years of experience in an HR role in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR functions and related regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
