　　Summary

　　Responsible for Live Side Operations construction of new farms and maintenance of all existing farm structures to the company’s building standards.

　　Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

　　Acts as general contractor for new construction and renovations of existing structures from year to year.

　　Monitors the day to day work of contracted construction crews.

　　Coordinates with producers, vendors and subcontractors.

　　Works with perspective farmers laying out the construction of new turkey barns, renovations of aging turkey barns to ensure the environment of the flock meets the requirements of the operation.

　　Assists in the finalization of the notice of completion and delivery to job site.

　　Purchase and transport local materials and equipment to the job sites.

　　Provide estimates of the remodeled construction cost of existing turkey facilities.

　　Confers daily with construction crew and equipment suppliers.

　　All other tasks as assigned by management.

　　Minimum Education

　　AA degree in a related field plus 5 years of barn construction experience. Must have management experience with construction crews.

　　Experience Requirements

　　1-3 years related experience.Experience is lieu of degree will be considered. Must have a valid driver's license with no points. Good customer service skills. Strong reading, math, writing communication skills (oral and written), analytical skills and a statistical background.

　　Experience Preferred

　　General contractors license, 7 to 10 years of managing construction crews.

　　Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

　　Must be physically able to work in all locations including hatcheries, feed mills, turkey barns and processing plants.

　　Exposed to seasonal weather conditions as well as significant amount of airborne dust, feathers

　　When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.

　　Exposure to manure and associated odors, including ammonia, especially in the production houses.

　　Required to perform moderate physical exertion to include pushing pulling and lifting up to 75 lbs.

　　Must be able to climb to a height of 30' as well as significant amount of bending, lifting and stooping.
