Perform cleaning andstocking of guest rooms and common areas of the organization in atimely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Ensure the achievement ofcleanliness, d?cor and beauty standards within all Kripalu facilities.Serves as a member of the Housekeeping Management Team.Accountabilities - Team Lead serves as the direct report for all of theroom attendants and housepersons. This position upholds the standardslaid out by Housekeeping Management Team and ensures compliance in eacharea of the building. - Serves as a liaison between departments,carrying a radio to stay in contact with the Guest Services Team, CampusSafety Team, and Facilities Team. - From time to time, will assign dailytasks to each member of the team, inspecting their work, and documentingthe day\'s tasks in pre-developed documentation created by HousekeepingManagement Team. - Will work to familiarize themselves with Resort Suiteand other computer-oriented operating systems. - Will report directly toHousekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Associate Director ofOperations and Rooms to maintain synchronicity across levels ofmanagement to ensure a consistent product for Kripalu\'s guests. -Clean, prepare, detail, and maintain all public areas of Kripaluincluding; public restrooms, program rooms, lobby areas, fitnesscenters, entrances, luggage rooms, tech lounges, and other defined guestspaces. - Clean, prepare, and detail all areas of our guest roomsincluding bathrooms, making beds, and vacuuming. - Clean and detail thedormitories including making bunk beds. - Pick up and dispose of trashand recycling in defined manner. - Vacuum and dust public areas. -Perform duties in accordance with defined safety standards, MA Healthand Safety Guidelines, and Close Personal Contact Services standards. -Perform duties in a manner that ensures guest security, privacy andconfidentiality. - Report any damage or missing supplies in guest rooms,public bathrooms, or common areas to supervisor. - Prepare cleaningcarts and stock closets. - Assist with cleaning public bathrooms; cleanand sanitize toilets, sinks, walls, and floors, re-stocking supplies. -Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned bymanagement. - Supports the Kripalu team and other departments inensuring the best-overall guest experience possible. ESSENTIAL SKILLSAND EXPERIENCE - Demonstrated ability to achieve quality andproductivity standards. - Demonstrated ability to work well andeffectively with others. - No chemical sensitivity; able to use allHousekeeping cleaning products. - Ability to work on feet and walk longdistances for extended periods of time. - Ability to understand basicinstruction in english with a desire to learn more. MINIMALQUALIFICATIONS Preferred experience in housekeeping or otherservice-oriented occupation.
