Job DescriptionPay: $15.75 per hourTheHouse Attendantuses organization and communication skills to support your Colleagues in creating guest rooms that are well equipped and welcoming - and that make our guests feel value. The Attendant is responsible for assisting the housekeeping staff in cleaning of guest rooms, laundry functions and ensuring overall patron satisfaction.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssesses quantities of stock in storeroom upon arrival and restocks inventory if necessaryAssists Room Attendant including removing linens and trashAssists with cleaning guest rooms and making beds as neededTransports dirty linen from departed rooms to laundry departmentTransports clean bath and bed linen from laundry to storeroomsKeeps storerooms clean, free of trash, and organized at all timesDelivers irons, ironing boards, roll away beds, cribs, etc. to guest room upon requestOperates trash compactor and cardboard balerPicks up and returns to storage any previously used guest requests found in rooms or hallwaysCommunicates with Management for any special requests or dutiesRequired Qualifications & SkillsMust be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demandsSuccessful completion of criminal background check and drug screenProven ability to work independently with limited supervisionWillingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as neededDesired Qualifications & TraitsPrior experience with the handling of cleaning chemicalsExcellent customer service skillsPrevious housekeeping or general cleaning experiencePhysical RequirementsAble to lift up to 30 lbs.Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.Able to bend, stretch, and twistAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to climb multiple flights of stairs on daily basis and walk frequentlyAble to work with chemicals according to directionsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
