PositionPurpose: Hospital Services Technicians travel between customerhealthcare facilities providing on-site proactive collection andexchange of waste containers for various Stericycle programs, includingbut not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste,Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is providedat regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. Key JobActivities: Travels between customer healthcare facilities toproactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for variousStericycle programs and services, including but not limited to: SharpsManagement Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance andDocument Management. Interacts professionally with onsite customer staffto ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Maintains a rigidcollection and service schedule. Communicates duty status on a definedscheduled. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing. Mustbe able to lift up to 55 pounds and push and/or pull carts weighing asmuch as 500 pounds. Experience: 2+ years\' work experience or Highschooldiploma or equivalent. Demonstrate strong communication skills and tactin providing superior. customer service in a variety of settings andsituations. May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing basedon customer requirements. Must possess a valid driver\'s license.
