  Experience in building systems to measure, triage, and drive reliability and issues in software stack

  Experience with system performance tuning and debugging

  Experience with networking, firmware analysis, and OS performance

  You have excellent communication skills

  Partner with a variety of cross and multi-functional team members from a diverse array of groups across the company

  Ability to stay focused and prioritize a full workload while achieving outstanding quality

  Description

  We are looking for someone passionate about technology, privacy, and user experiences. This job will drive the performance and reliability for the HomeKit Camera experiences. Being able to work up and down the stack from the iOS experience, system daemons running on HomePods and AppleTVs, to the accessory firmware software integration will be key to being successful. Experience tuning system processes and optimizing network, GPU, CPU resources. Will be responsible for building infrastructure for supervising and prioritizing multi-device systems in labs and field. Someone who thrives in multi-functional environments with numerous teams will be key.

  Education & Experience

  Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,300.00 and $301,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
