JOB DESCRIPTIONTITLE:HOME DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM COORDINATORHOURS:30 HOURS PER WEEK - NON-EXEMPT POSITIONSUPERVISOR:DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSSALARY:$21.00 PER HOURSUMMARY STATEMENT OF POSITION:The Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the daily administrative, operational, and logistical activities of the Home Delivered Meals Program. This position communicates with all areas that make up the program, including the volunteer coordinator, logistics, social work, and intake departments. Accountabilities include effective and efficient delivery of all services. Execution of new and existing grant programs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Caseworkers, and Intake Coordinator. REGULAR TASKS:1.Manage staff, including assignments, workloads, and schedules2.Ensure implementation of policies and practices 3.Effectively communicate with staff and program participants4.Support growth and program development.5.Closely monitor route assignment of home-delivered meals for accuracy.6.Ensure accuracy of information entered into SERV Tracker 7.Management of information required by NYSOFA8.Tracking of intakes to conversions9.Monitor the availability of grant funding10.Tracking of program-related data, including Total Output Report, program surveys, and referrals.11.Act as liaison to Director of Operations12.Other administrative tasks as assigned.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage others.•Self-motivated, creative, and flexible•Solid organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through in an independent, responsible manner•Ability to perform tasks without direct and constant supervision•Excellent written and verbal communication, and computer skills•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and GooglePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:•Experience in leading staff•Sharp organizational skills•Solution-oriented mindset•Attention to detailMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:•Four-year college degree in public health administration preferred,•Two-year college degree in business administration, or related field, acceptable with related experience•Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides a demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
