Part-time person needed to deliver lunch to our older, homebound and disabled friends and neighbors throughout Uintah County. Meals on Wheels drivers not only feed some of the most vulnerable people in the county, but they also combat social isolation through their wellness checks and friendly visits. The winter months are always the most challenging for our clients.
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Load the prepared meals in the vehicle assigned according to the route as directedDeliver meals and provide wellness checks to assigned clientsReport Change in Conditions to supervisor or designated staff memberDistribute envelopes, program handouts, menus and informational flyers when instructedPosition Requirements
Driver's License and good driving recordHigh School diploma or equivalentPhysical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb stairsAble to pass all background checks and drug screenMust be at least 21 years oldMust be dependable and work well with all coworkers
