PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Operates loader to transport raw materials from stockpiles to asphalt plant hoppers.Operates loader in daily cleanup of asphalt plant.Assists asphalt plant personnel in daily and scheduled maintenance as required; performs repairs as required.Operates loader to organize yard's stockpiles.Operates and maintains high frequency screens at various locations.Follows OSHA and GP safety, ethics, and regulations / policies.Load customer trucks with various materials as directed.Watch the plant and product piles for contaminated materials, oversize material, or problems with the plant.Communicate with plant operators, dispatchers, and management on a regular basis.Performs other duties as assigned.PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate.2 years loader experience at an Asphalt plant or similar experience.Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools.Able to efficiently operate forklift, skid steer loader, and wheel loader.Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.Ability to work overtime, weekends, nights or holidays as required.Capable of multiple dexterities, climbing, crouching, crawling, lying under equipment and lifting or moving up to 100 pounds.We primarily employ carpenters, laborers,and operating engineers. We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the following unions listed below and are subject to the hiring rules of each collective bargaining agreement.
