Hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanics
Job Description:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes.
Proficient in hydraulic system diagnostics and repair, electrical system diagnostics, and be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics as well as use fluid and load testing tools. Experience with utility-type equipment a plus.
Must have own tools.
Possess ability to communicate both written and verbal with co-workers and customers.
Be able to interpret blue prints, drawings and work orders.
Knowledge and skill with hydraulics, automotive electronics and 110 volt systems and be able to perform heavy component installations (climbing up, down and under trucks or aerial manlift baskets) in a timely manner.
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience with heavy equipment specifically crane trucks, bucket trucks, Aerial Lift, etc. (Key word: Utility industry)
5+ years of experience with hydraulic systems or hydraulic equipment
5+ years of experience in reading blueprints and schematics
5+ years experience with heavy component installations (climbing up, down and under trucks or aerial man lift baskets)
Needs industry knowledge
Preferred Requirements:
• 2+ years of recent electrical experience in an Industrial environment or Large Equipment Repair
• 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
• Experience with Aerial Lifts strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills are highly preferred.
• Fluid Power Society Certification is a plus
• Welding skills are a plus.
• CDL License is a plus and the ability to perform work in the field when necessary
• JLG or Genie experience preferred
Pay & Shift :
Pay: $30-40/hour
Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday
*Typically working 40-45 hours per week
