High School Baseball - Assistant Coach

　　The Assistant Baseball Coach at Danville Community School District will work closely with the Head Baseball Coach to support the development and success of the high school baseball program. This position requires a dedicated and knowledgeable individual with a passion for coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and contributing to the overall success of the team. The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist in organizing and executing practices, implementing coaching strategies, and providing valuable support to the coaching staff.

　　Valid Iowa Coaching LicenserequiredPrevious coaching experience (preferred, but not necessary), preferably at the high school level.Extensive knowledge of the game of baseball and coaching techniques.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.Commitment to fostering a positive team culture and promoting sportsmanship.Responsibilities:

　　Training and Skill Development:

　　Assist in planning and conducting effective and engaging practice sessions.Provide skill instruction and development for individual players and specific positions.Collaborate with the Head Coach to design and implement training programs that align with team goals.Game Day Support:

　　Assist in game day preparations, including warm-ups, equipment setup, and player readiness.Support the Head Coach in making in-game decisions, substitutions, and strategy adjustments.Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to players during and after games.
