Description

Robert Half is searching for a Help Desk Technician for a Credit Union to be based in either Yakima or Sunnyside, Washington. The primary responsibility of this Help Desk Technician is to provide first-tier IT Support to internal end-users both remotely and in-person. This is a 100% onsite role with some travel requirements, about once a week here and there, to their locations in Sunnyside, Yakima, Pasco, Grandview, and East Wenatchee. This is a short-term contract to start (about 2 months) with potential to extend depending on performance and client need.

Responsibilities:

Responding promptly to user queries via emails, live chats, or phone calls.

Identifying and solving technical issues relating to software, hardware, and other computer systems.

Keeping track of all interactions with users in the system for recording purposes and ease of resolution in future.

Escalating complex technical issues to tier II and tier III support personnel, detailing the nature of the problem accurately.

Conducting regular system checks and software updates to ensure efficient operations and to prevent future problems.

Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant IT Support experience

Must have a general understanding of IT Support with hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting experience

Proficient with Windows OS

Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 support

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
