As a Help Desk Engineer, you will handle the day-to-day technology support for the PC hardware, software, and peripherals for all on-site and remote staff. Additionally, you will serve as a team lead to other Help Desk Technicians, helping them to understand Paymerang’s help desk ticketing system, as well as mentoring and growing them in partnership with the IT Administrator. In addition to leading day-to-day help desk activities, you will also perform the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex service tickets or tickets escalated by other Help Desk Technicians
Implement, maintain and oversee process automation efforts, including, but not limited to Microsoft Flow/Power Automate processes for the People and Culture team, IT/SecOps team, Finance team and Compliance team
Create and maintain documentation related to IT Help Desk support processes and responsibilities to include ‘how to’ and training documentation
Continue to support the SecOps team with security and access efforts; ensuring proper role accesses in partnership with the security team
Serve as a lead on any office expansion or location move efforts, including include workstation setup, appropriation of needed IT equipment, initiating discussions with Paymerang support vendors, and keeping the IT Administrator updated on progress

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education
Previous experience providing IT support to onsite and remote users
Previous experience working providing support to call center teams
Working understanding of IT concepts in the areas of networking, cloud computing, software development, systems administration and IT Security
Experience automating processes with Microsoft Power Automate
Schedule for this role is on-site, Monday through Friday, 5 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA A+, Net+, MCP/MCSA in Office365 certification
Strong proficiency with Office 365 web and installed apps across all areas: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive
Ability to troubleshoot Lenovo and Apple Macbook Pro laptop hardware with latest associated Windows 10 and OSX operating systems.
Strong OS command line proficiency for remote endpoint support
Experience with Remote Management and Monitoring tools to install/deinstall software and diagnose PC issues
Automation script writing using PowerShell or Bash
Endpoint security knowledge including best practices and/or basic certification
