Description:
Reporting to the Service Manager, a Service Technician performs mechanical maintenance and assembly adjustments on heavy construction equipment, lift trucks, road construction and aggregate machinery or quarry mining equipment.
The qualified service technician possesses hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting capability, is punctual and maintains a professional and respectful demeanor with both staff and customers.
Technicians must be flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed to meet customer’s needs.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance
Must be able to work indoors or outdoors under a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
Repair, mechanic, Mechanical, Diesel certifications, Mechanic Certifications, troubleshooting
Top Skills details:
• Vocational Training or 2+ years of experience performing heavy machinery mechanical services (Volvo, Roadtec, Bornag Etnyre, brands preferred)
• 2+ years of hydraulic, electrical and heavy construction equipment experience
• Proficiency using heavy machinery diagnostics equipment
• Must have own set of tools
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
• Possessing or obtaining Class B CDL license within first 60 days of employment
Shift and Pay:
Typical shop hours are: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM but may vary by location.
$20 to $24/hr
