What would I be doing?

　　Located just east of downtown Kansas City, Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City is a Midwestern entertainment hub that offers something for everyone. Ameristar has one of the largest casino floors in Missouri, amazing dining venues, a newly renovated luxury hotel, and more. Ameristar also offers convenient parking in a five-level, 2,660 space parking structure with an enclosed, climate-controlled walkway to the casino and entertainment center. Ameristar is seeking a Heavy Duty Cleaner. The successful candidate willfacilitate through the Executive Steward/Chef the overseeing of the daily cleaning of all kitchen areas and equipment.

　　This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

　　Demonstrates ability to maintain cleanliness of all back of house areas.

　　Practice safe food handling and sanitation duties as given to by management.

　　Demonstrates the ability to handle varying business with little assistance.

　　Demonstrates willingness to assist other team members as needed without being asked.

　　Demonstrates the ability to communicate through log books, verbally and written.

　　Demonstrates the ability to be proactive in maintaining Ameristar standards.

　　Demonstrates the ability to follow up on projects in a timely manner and complies with departmental policies as well as with Company rules, regulations, and policies set forth in the employee handbook reports any equipment malfunctions. Maintains station in a neat and orderly manner.

　　Required Knowledge and Skills

　　Must have excellent guest service skills.

　　Must have decision-making ability; frequent communication with other department heads; must be willing to accept responsibility of inventory, breakage control and accurate labor cost. Maintain Company Standards; be in compliance with Health Codes and OSHA.

　　Uses appropriate language when engaging guests and co-workers in conversation, communicating clearly and courteously, Provides continued service to all guests.

　　Required Natural Behaviors

　　Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Required Education and Work Experience

　　High School Diploma or equivalent.

　　Minimum 1-6 month experience preferably in a hotel or casino.
