About the role
In order to help Cochlear make a difference in people's lives and supportour customers, we are recruiting for an Associate Customer Order InsuranceSpecialist in our Americas head office based in Lone Tree, CO.
To be successful in this role you will be able to provide a world classcustomer experience to recipients, patients, clinicians, consumers,caregivers and/or family members of recipients. This role requires anappropriate sense of urgency in answering their questions and resolving anyservice issues. The Associate Customer Order Insurance Specialist will provideresponsive and complete service to Cochlear's customers through inbound andoutbound call interactions. You will demonstrate a high degree of integrity,empathy, sensitivity, and patience for the hearing impaired along withrespect for member's privacy in responding to customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in determining insurance eligibility and coverage based onunique plansAnticipating customer's product and service needs, assisting innavigating insurance process, placing orders, and collecting/processingpayment on entered ordersPossess in depth knowledge of insurance process, including deductibles,coinsurance, out-of-pocket max, one-time agreements, and in-network vsout of network coverageWork cross-functionally with key internal partners including Supply Chain,Reimbursement Operations, and Billing & CollectionsUtilize multiple programs and systems across dual monitors while answeringquestions over the phoneProvide world class customer experienceKey Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience1-2 years prior customer service experiencePositive phone demeanor and proven ability to interact effectively withcustomers, colleagues, and the hearing impaired with a variety ofcommunication stylesInteract effectively with customers and colleagues and defuse and resolvedifficult customer service issues in a timely, effective manner.Work Environment
Following the in-person training period, this role offers a hybrid workenvironment. In order to effectively service our customers remotely,Cochlear requires remote workers to have fast internet connection speeds. Aconnection speed of 50-100 Mbps is ideal. The work environment characteristicsdescribed here are representative of those an employee encounters whileperforming the essential functions of this job.

Salary range: $21.24/hr - $21.45/hr, as well as annual bonusopportunity of 5% base salary.
