JOB REQUIREMENTS: Health Unit Coordinator - Surgical Trauma Unit F4/4 -University Hospital - 28711 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule:90% FTE, 36 Hours per week, Day/Evening, Shifts scheduled between thehours of 7:00 am - 11:30 pm. Hours may vary based on the operationalneeds of the department. We are seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to: *Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to supportpatient care. * Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate allaspects of patient care including patient admissions, transfers, anddischarges. * Use high level of attention to detail to maintainaccurate electronic health records and perform other duties of aclerical nature. * Maintain control and order under stressfulconditions and periods of high unit activity, while utilizing effectiveand respectful communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
