The HSEManager will be responsible for managing all processes that includeHealth, Safety, Environment and Department of Transportation (DOT). Theprimary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with allapplicable CGP policies, procedures, and programs, including allfederal, state and local laws and regulations. MEASURES OF SUCCESSDevelops and manages activities as necessary to evaluate and reducepotential risks to employee health and well-being. Ensures compliancewith all Federal, State, and local government laws (OSHA, EPA, USDOT,NIOSH, Worker\'s Compensation, etc.) Develop, review, implement,maintain, support, recommend and execute site specific HSE programs,policies, and procedures. Ensure the site adheres to applicable CGPpolicies, procedures, and processes. Perform on-site safety inspectionsand assessments. Directs incident investigation programs, developsleading indicator trends, and develops programs for improvingperformance ensuring meaningful root causes are identified andcorrective actions are documented, managed, and completed. Manages allaspects of safety training from development to delivery and tracking toensure compliance with site, corporate and OSHA regulations. Manage newhire HSE orientation. Coordinates with supervisors and new employees toensure on-the-job training activities are effective and on schedule.Facilitates a safety committee including a plan and annual agenda.Ensures all required paperwork relating to transportation regulations ismaintained. Support awareness initiatives that reinforce the HSE programand encourage employee involvement. Works closely with HR to manageworkers\' compensation claims with attentiveness. Manage and utilize CGPHSE systems, including but not limited to learning management system,HSE management system and SDS system. Develop and implement HSEstrategies that align with corporate objectives to reduce/mitigate risk.Meet corporate deadlines and completion targets. Utilize key metrics todrive performance in HSE at the site location. Communicates risk resultsto all levels within CGP, including reporting and interaction with BUand Corporate HSE teams.
