Today, we are recruiting for a Head of Strategy and Business Development to join our team in Turkey (Istanbul – Ankara). This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
Manage the development, communication, and execution of strategic initiatives to achieve new businesses for the organization.
Create content for presenting new business models, and designs along with, controlling the execution of strategic roadmaps.
Lead the change management initiatives for the organization.
Support the implementation of strategic measures to safeguard the achievement of ambitious growth and strategic targets.
Develop a strategy planning process and lead the strategic dialogues with the managing board.
Implement strategy presentations and content for the CEO and the CFO.
Lead strategy projects as developing required insights or strategic plans for the businesses; support of high-priority internal projects.
Analyze markets and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities and to elaborate business cases including necessary portfolio, localization strategies, investments, and resources.
Implement M&A strategy and projects (Invest, Divest, Partnership, JV, due diligence) incl. Financial Modeling.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University or College, preferably holding Masters or PhD degrees.
10+ years of experience in business, marketing, and strategy in an industrial b2b environment
Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop large teams.
Strong presentation skills: ability to manage C-level stakeholders.
Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with teams and stakeholders around the globe.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people across all levels.
Highly proactive and ambitious with the ability to anticipate what digitalization means for customers and proactively develop a solution.
Fluency in Turkish and English language while further language skills are highly appreciated.
Ability to work in Istanbul and Ankara with the flexibility to be mobile across Turkey and overseas.
