  The Role

  We are thrilled to bring to market the position of Head of Performance, Talent, and Reward. As a key member of our people leadership team, you will collaborate with colleagues both within the corporate structure and across Carnival UK to oversee the integration and alignment of our performance, talent management, and total reward philosophies with our target performance-led culture. Bringing innovative thought leadership to future-proof our employment proposition, contribute to our desired culture, and prioritise performance considerations. Your responsibilities will extend across ship and shore operations, spanning multiple international talent markets. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relevant policies, frameworks, documentation, and processes to assess, nurture, and appropriately reward our workforce.

  Representation and Collaboration:Represent CUK in corporate and cross-brand forums, collaborating effectively with sister brands to share insights and experiences.

  Strategic Management and Leadership :Develop and maintain networks, influence policy and strategy development, manage budgets, and lead the Performance, Talent, and Reward team, focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and anticipating team capacity.

  Strategic Reward Leadership :Provide thought leadership and recommendations to drive futureproof reward considerations, supporting the target culture and growth of CUK.

  Design, implement, and sustain a comprehensive Total Reward offering, owning relevant policies, and overseeing cyclical activities such as salary benchmarking and compensation events.

  Compliance and Communication:Advise the People Leadership Team on market knowledge and legislative requirements, maintaining oversight of benefits portfolios for strategic alignment.

  Ensure compliance with external regulations, market the Total Reward effectively internally and externally, and implement governance around corporately driven reward approaches.

  Strategic Performance Leadership:Bring thought leadership to futureproof the employment proposition, contribute to the target culture, and drive performance considerations.

  Define cycles, processes, and governance for annual performance and reward reviews while working closely with leadership teams to facilitate continuous improvement in fleet performance.

  Talent Management and Development:Define policies, frameworks, and tools for identifying high performance and talented individuals, including promotion, succession planning, and career pathways.

  Provide advice and consultancy to Senior Leaders on the talent agenda, facilitate senior leader performance calibration, and serve as the design authority for early careers and talent development programs.

  Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK05 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with a 3 day in our Southampton office hybrid working pattern.

  Prior experience leading a Talent and Reward function

  Experience & success working in a global operating model

  Comfortable and confident in stakeholder management at an executive level

  A bold thinker with a proven track record of challenging the status quo
