What will you be engaged in?
As our new Head of HR, you will be in charge of
Develop and monitor overall People strategies, systems, tactics, policies and procedures across the organisation
Propose, update and review People policies, procedures and guidelines and instil organisation values and culture
Lead development and execution of talent management, engagement and retention strategies, plans, and initiatives including the design and implementation of learning & development strategies, training, mentoring and professional development and succession plans
Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Departments and Team Leaders in all HR areas covering industrial relations, manpower planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, competence development and retention of staff to meet current and future business needs
Oversee the company's payroll and performance management systems including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments
Enable effective decision-making for the Management for organisational and talent development by providing regular insights and strategic recommendations to allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently
Work closely and be an active sparring partner to the Management team on organisational design and development and job structure
Drive best practices and act as counsel to Management on all areas of employee performance
Translate key data into an effective and commercially focused People strategy, partnering with management and consulting them on the best course of action
Connect management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Propose and control the People budget and report on current and future staffing costs and initiatives
Lead People projects that are newly implemented and exercise revisions that are aligned with the business' growth and direction
Oversee functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations
Lead People & Transformation (HR) department by managing, guiding and developing local and regional People team members to have the right competence and capacity in delivering high-quality People tasks efficiently to support the organisation
Oversee the management of office & facilities support
Design office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments
Manage office General & Administrative budget and ensure accurate and timely reporting
Review financial objectives including an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions
Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, identifying trends and consulting them on the best course of action
Ensure proper Safety & Health procedure are in place

Describe yourself as a solution-based thinker and able to work independently on new challenges and opportunities
Studied human resources, business communication or similar subjects
Solid understanding of payroll fundamentals and best practices
Good understanding of payroll taxes (for Malaysians and Expatriates)
Understanding of general HR policies, labour law and HR procedure
Proficient in MS Office & Google Suite
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
