The Team
The Veeqo team is a subsidiary of Amazon (acquired in 2021 (See: News). The marketing team uses data, seller insights, and creative thinking to invent, test and scale programs that raise awareness of Veeqo and drive Sellers to signup/engage with our sales team. We’re a close-knit group of marketers (functional channel owners, product marketers, creatives, content marketers, etc) who collaborate well and enjoy a fast pace of delivery.
The Role
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Events Marketing Manager to drive awareness of Veeqo through our presence at industry trade show events and to organise and host our own calendar of small-scale events across the US. You'll develop an annual events plan, securing resources, implementing the right cross-team processes, and measuring the impact of each event.
The right candidate has successful experience in results-driven events marketing role (ideally in a software related- role), a passion for bringing people together, and an entrepreneurial spirit with strong product marketing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Event marketing is a relatively new program at Veeqo, so it's important the candidate can
demonstrate experience inventing new approaches, testing and learning, and balancing long-term vision with executing fast. You'll need to act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the execution, and analysis of business impact.
You'll be representing Veeqo face-to-face with prospective and existing Sellers, so great people skills and the ability and willingness to learn our product down cold are essential.
Key job responsibilities
Build, manage, and execute a program of in-person (and potentially online) micro-events targeted at small groups of Amazon sellers, ranging from 10 to 50 participants.
Organize and manage our presence at 3-4 major trade shows per year, securing all key operational elements (booth space, collateral, speaker slots), as well as finding creative ways to make us stand out.
Amazon Accelerate is Amazon's largest seller-facing event (normally held in September each year). It represents a key opportunity for Veeqo to delight and educate our existing and prospective sellers. You'll lead our presence, aligning with senior leadership on seller acquisition objectives and coordinating with other seller-facing teams across Amazon.
You'll partner with our sales, content, creative, and marketing operations manager to ensure alignment of events strategy, acting as an owner of key business outcomes.
You'll manage cross-team working backwards timelines and contribute to operational planning documents. You'll own a seller acquisition goal and be comfortable with regular reporting against this goal.

Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
