Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Hands-on coordination of all global communication activities together with the Divisions as well as Group Functions.
Further detailing and implementing the overall communication strategy of Sulzer, with direct responsibility for all internal and external communications on corporate level.
Managing financial communication (Annual Report and all related activities) tailored to the needs of shareholders, analysts and investors, in close cooperation with the finance organization.
Shaping Sulzer’s online presence with an integrated website, ensuring that customer needs across all businesses are covered efficiently and effectively; coordinate social media activities.
Developing the Intranet as collaboration tool and information channel.
Cooperating closely with other group functions such as HR; Strategy and Business Development; Environment, Safety & Health; Global Technology; and Finance to ensure effective communications on strategy group initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Group Communications of an industrial company of similar size and complexity to Sulzer.
Master’s degree in journalism, communications, German/English linguistic or related with fluency in both English and German.
Experience in change and transformation processes as well as with operational excellence topics.
Solid track record in project management.
Solid understanding of and experience with financial reporting and commercial terms, possessing strong business acumen.
Hands-on team leader with strong decision-making skills and a pragmatic attitude.
Able to reduce complex and multi-disciplinary topics to clear, simple but nuanced messages and storylines. Ability to develop effective message positioning and delivery with specific focus on commercial-related and financial communications.
