Provides strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the user-centered services and operations of the Access and Resource Sharing Department which is responsible for circulation, interlibrary loan and resource sharing, high density storage facility, delivery services, course reserves, preservation services, stacks management, alternate format services, and study room access and management. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean for Academic Success, the head manages a department that currently includes 30 staff members, and directly supervises the Access Services Librarian, Resource Sharing and Facility Manager, and Preservation Librarian.
Works in close collaboration with other department heads and libraries' units to ensure a coordinated and seamless service environment and the advancement of Libraries' strategic goals. Identifies, advocates for, and facilitates, services that support diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, and ensures the provision of services that support and advance student success and thriving.
