In this role you will:Transport and delivers goods in accordance with the schedule as determined by the customer.Unload or assists in unloading packages/materials as required. Properly secures loads and ensures loads are within weight limits.Perform desktop deliveries.Operate the delivery truck safely.Report any vehicle problems and defects to management.Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and other standards and regulations.Apply placarding as required.Maintain a good driving record.Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.Perform other duties as assignedDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
