This position will work closely with our clinical and case management staff, the SSP Manager, and external partners in public health. This is a permanent position, paying $24--$25.50/hour with full BMHTH benefits.
Duties:
Understand and adhere to best practices for syringe services and harm reduction programmingEnsure confidentiality and anonymity of all syringe services program (SSP) clients who access only the exchange serviceCollect accurate transaction data to assist monthly reporting requirements to Washington State Department of Health, University of Washington, and other partnersConduct syringe services operations in Kennewick, WashingtonRegularly inventory SSP supplies to ensure sites are stocked; communicate with SSP Manager on items requested and receivedOffer referrals to participants for in-house and external services as appropriate, and document these referralsConduct naloxone distribution and training to produce new outlets for naloxone distribution, especially to Latinx groups and communitiesWork with external partners to grow naloxone distribution capacityAttend regional opioid crisis response meetings and summits as appropriateAttend harm reduction training and conferences as appropriateExpectations:
