Job Description Summary

　　At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

　　Avio Aero, hardware owner of GEnX LPT module, recently took also the design responsibility of the LPT-TRF bolted joint/flange.

　　For this reason we are looking for a Design Engineer, expected in a first phase, to fully take the design responsibility of the bolted joint, learning the requested tasks and the use of existing tools or developing dedicated ones if needed and, in a second phase, to address PINs (Partner Interface Nonconformance), design changes, Certification efforts.

　　Essential Responsibilities

　　In this role you will act as the Hardware owner for LPT-TRF bolted joint/flange with the main following responsibilities:

　　work in close concurrence with the previous hardware owner to guarantee quick and effective full hardware ownership transfer;

　　provide proactive support in managing requests of concurrence for MRBs potentially impacting the bolted joint as well as design modifications

　　Qualifications/Requirements

　　Master's Degree in mechanical or aeronautical Engineering

　　English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral

　　PC proficiency

　　Experience in FE analyses (Ansys and workbench preferred)

　　Desired Characteristics

　　Basic experience with CAD tools (preferred Unigraphics)

　　Good interpersonal and communication skills

　　Ability to work in team and to interact with different stakeholders
