As a Hardware Lifecycle Manager for the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) program, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Lifecycle Manager who works within the Integrated Logistics Support team to support all service delivery, operational, engineering, logistical, and lifecycle needs through a centralized database, as well as provide support on projects.
HOW A HARDWARE LIFECYCLE MANAGER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet project requirements for assigned program.
Optimizing the lifecycle schedule of service assets, mitigating the costs and risks caused by poorly managed assets.
Evaluating contracts and developing associated Lifecycle Management schedules to maintain or replace associated technology or service.
Managing Hardware and Software resources and service warranties as defined by the service level agreements and contracts.
Establishes and defines lifecycle plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum technology refresh and replacement plans with program Subject Matter Experts and project management teams.
Monitors and reports performance against lifecycle replacement plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced employees.
Participate in special Integrated Logistics Support activities and associated Projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field of study - preferredCertifications
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 – highly desiredExperience:
5+ years of related experience in Logistics, Lifecycle, or IT Configuration Management
ServiceNow
Considerable experience in IT Operations, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
Security Clearance:
Secret clearance required, ability to obtain TS or TS/SCI preferred.Other:
