Responsibilities

Minimum 7 years’ experience in PCB layout and automated test.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Experience with Cadence Allegro Cad tools (Allegro 17.2 and Orcad Capture).

Experience with E.M. field solvers, time and frequency domain simulation tools:

Cadence Sigrity, Ansys HFSS and ADS, and Synopsys HSpice.

Able to do PCB design from Data entry to Output of fabrication files.

Attends product development and critical kick off meetings for initial product launch.

Use Teamcenter to research parts and BOM’s.

Perform QA inspection on final designs for completeness and quality.

Some travel may be needed for training, off site meetings, or product validation.

All other related duties as assigned by management. Basic Qualifications Skills

Solid comprehension of electromagnetic and transmission line theory, signal integrity, differential and single-ended interface technologies.

Clear comprehension of power distribution network design and optimization techniques.

Familiarity with, and fundamental comprehension of lab measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA etc

Execute on S parameter model extraction, channel study, target impedance study, etc.

Engage with engineers and vendors to comprehend and evaluate PCB materials and stackups.

Must comprehend PCB schematic and know how to make changes to schematic and layout for SI/PI improvements.

Experience with the following industry standards: DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, PCIe, UFS, MIPI, etc.
